Tammy offers customers the opportunity to be first with the new season styles and lay-by even in midwinter, ready for the summer season. She also stocks chlorine-resistant swimwear, mastectomy styles and swimwear for babies and children. The shop’s unusual name, pronounced ‘peachy,’ came about because of the founders’ fondness of the expression ‘that’s peachy’ and Chi is the Chinese word for ‘energy’ or ‘life force’ and the ‘P’ is for positive.
The entire team at P’Chi has a discerning eye and has picked the best and brightest from major labels like Seafolly, Jantzen, Sunseeker and Baku in both bikinis and one piece swimsuits. “We have a lot of mix and match separates,” Tammy said, good news for anyone whose top is a size 14 and their bottom size 12 or vice versa.
