Bakers Delight Gowings Port Central has been providing fresh bread to locals since 1995. Aaron Hall, store franchisee, has been managing the bakery since 2013, and he and his team support many causes such as Breast Cancer Network Australia with a Bundraiser Day, and John Hunter Hospital in the Pink Bun Campaign. “These campaigns are a busy time for us and it’s a chance for us to give something back to the community, but it is also a fair bit of fun,” said Aaron. The team of five bakers are hard at work from 2am baking fresh bread for locals each and every day. “All of our bread that you see in our bakery is baked from scratch that morning. We don’t use any preservatives or additives in our bread and any leftover bread is donated to local charities.”
“Our bakery is proud to donate unsold bread to charities and farmers like 4Life Care and the Big Red Bus who provide food to local people facing difficulties,” said Aaron. Come by Bakers Delight Gowings Port Central and say hello to Aaron and the team. The bakery is open from 6am every day.
